Ovation Adamas II 1581-5 1987

1987年製のアダマスIIです。

カッタウェイ、ディープボウル・ラウンドバック、ブラックカラーのモデルです。

若干トップ落ちがあり、ブリッジ手前付近でトップの両端から3mmほど沈んでいるために弦高が低くなっています。それを補正するためにサドル下に牛骨製とカーボン製のシムが1枚づつ仕込まれています。その状態で弦高は12フレット位置で6弦2.0mm、1弦1.7mmとなっています。カーボン製のシムは上記以外に2枚付属しています。

上記以外には目立つような傷や修復歴などは見当たりません。ネックやフレットの状態も問題ありません。また、電装系は問題なく稼働しています。

迫力のある中低音、分離の良い高音域、ストロークが気持ちの良いオベーションサウンドです。

This is an Adamas II manufactured in 1987.

It is a cutaway model with a deep bowl and round back, finished in black.

There is a slight dip in the top; as the top has sunk by approximately 3 mm from both ends near the bridge, the string action is lower than normal. To compensate for this, one cowbone shim and one carbon fibre shim have been fitted beneath the saddle. With these in place, the string action at the 12th fret is 2.0 mm on the 6th string and 1.7 mm on the 1st string. Two additional carbon fibre shims are included.

Apart from the above, there are no noticeable scratches or signs of previous repairs. The neck and frets are in good condition. Furthermore, the electronics are functioning correctly.

It produces a powerful Ovation sound with rich mid-to-low frequencies, well-defined high frequencies and a pleasant strumming feel.

It comes with the original hard case.
