Martin D28 STD 1997

1997年製のD28です。

細かな擦り傷や打痕はありますが、年代から見れば良い状態です。25年が経過してトップがいい色合いになっています。またバックのローズウッドの木目がとても綺麗です。リフレットされているように見うけられ、現状の残りは6割ほどです。裏側のネックヒール部分にあるバインディングの継ぎ目に少しだけギャップが出ているので補修された形跡かもしれません。

弦高は12フレット部分で6弦2.5mm、1弦2.0mmと標準的なセッティングです。トラスロッドやサドルの残りに余裕はあまりありませんが、ネックは安定していると思われます。

低音豊かでバランスの良いD28らしいサウンドです。

This D28 was made in 1997.

The top has a nice color after 25 years. The rosewood grain on the back is very nice. It appears to have been refretted, and there is about 60% remaining. There is a little gap at the binding joint at the heel of the neck on the back side, which may be a sign that it has been repaired.

The string height is 2.5mm on the 6th string and 2.0mm on the 1st string at the 12th fret, which is a standard setting. There is not much room left in the truss rod or saddle, but the neck is considered stable.

The sound is typical of a D28 with rich bass and good balance.
