Lowden D-10C 1990

Lowden では現在作られていないドレッドノート型のD10Cです。1990年頃の制作と思われます。シダートップ、マホガニーバック&サイドのカッタウェイスタイルです。

ローデンでは珍しくブリッジがピンで弦を止める方式になっています。

音色は材の特性もあると思いますが、ローデンとしては少し控えめな感じで、むしろ全体のまとまりが良いです。フィンガーピッキングよりもフラットピッキングでのカッティングなどに向いているように思います。

前オーナーはオークションで手に入れたようですが、その前のオーナーが楽器店で購入した際のオーナーズカードが残っています。大切にされていたようで状態は非常によく、ボディの傷なども少なく、金属部のさびなどもありません。付属の純正ハードケースも痛みが少ないです。ネックの状態も問題ありません。弦高は6弦2.25mm、1弦2.0mm、サドルの残が4mmほどあります。

This is a dreadnought type D10C that is not currently being made by Lowden. I think it was made around 1990. Cutaway style with cedar top, mahogany back and sides.

The bridge uses pins to hold the strings, which is rare in Roden.

I think the timbre is partly due to the characteristics of the wood, but as a Loden, it's a little understated, and the overall cohesion is rather good. I think that it is more suitable for cutting with flat picking than finger picking.

It seems that the previous owner got it at an auction, but I still have the owner's card from when the previous owner purchased it at a musical instrument store. It seems to have been cared for and is in very good condition, with few scratches on the body and no rust on the metal parts. The included genuine hard case is also less painful. There is no problem with the condition of the neck. The string height is 2.25mm for the 6th string, 2.0mm for the 1st string, and the remaining saddle is about 4mm.
