Taylor 810 WMB 1997

1997年製のTaylor 810 WMBです。

WMBとは"Wood binding, More Bass"という意味で、より低音を強調するようなブレーシングパターンが採用されている当時の限定版モデルだそうです。

よく弾き込まれていた形跡のあるギターです。

打痕や小傷も多く、塗装の割れ、バインディング部分の塗装の劣化などもみられます。

フレットは1,2,3弦の2,3フレット部分に、弦による摩耗がみられます。同じ箇所でフレットボードにも摩耗があります。

ピックアップが装着されていたようで、エンドピンが広げられています。現在はピックアップは取り外されています。

またピックガードは後付けされたもののようです。

サウンドホール周りにはピッキングで塗装が剥げている箇所があります。

以上のように、使用感は多くありますが、ボディの材の割れ、ブリッジの浮きなどは無く、演奏に関して問題になるような点はありません。

ネックの状態は正常で、弦高は12フレット位置で6弦2.0mm、1弦1.5mmと低めのセッティングで、サドルの高さにも余裕があります。サドルは新しいものに交換されています。

上級モデルならではの豊かな響き、繊細ながら迫力のあるサウンドです。

This is a 1997 Taylor 810 WMB.

WMB means "Wood binding, More Bass", and it was a limited edition model at that time with a bracing pattern that emphasizes more bass.

This guitar shows signs of having been well played.

There are many dents and minor scratches, cracks in the paint, and deterioration of the binding.

The frets on the first, second, and third strings show wear from the strings on the second and third frets. There is also wear on the fret board in the same area.

It appears that a pickup was installed and the end pins have been widened. The pickups have now been removed.

Also, the pick guard appears to have been retrofitted.

There are some areas around the soundhole where the paint has peeled off due to picking.

As mentioned above, there are many signs of use, but there are no cracks on the body, no bridge lift, etc., and there are no problems with the playing.

The neck is in good condition, and the string height is set low at 2.0 mm for the 6th string and 1.5 mm for the 1st string at the 12th fret, and there is plenty of room for saddle height. The saddle has been replaced with a new one.

The sound is rich, delicate yet powerful, as only an advanced model can be.
