Bauer Parlor around 1900's

George Bauerは1890年から1910年までペンシルベニア州フィラデルフィアで活躍したギター製作家です。

スプルーストップ、ハカランダサイド・バック、エボニー指板、エボニーブリッジ、ラダーブレーシング、650mmのロングスケールのギターです。指板、フレット、ナットサドルは交換されているようです。チューナーも交換されているように見えますが、問題無く動作しています。

ネックはわずかに順反りしており、弦高は12フレット位置で6弦3.2mm、1弦2.7mmほどです。サドルの高さは1.5mm〜2mmほどあります。

ロングスケールによりハリと音量のある明るいサウンドです。

George Bauer was a guitar maker active in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, from 1890 to 1910.

This is a guitar with a spruce top, rosewood sides and back, an ebony fingerboard, an ebony bridge, ladder bracing, and a 650mm long scale. The fingerboard, frets, and nut/saddle appear to have been replaced. The tuners also appear to have been replaced, but they function without issue.

The neck has a slight forward bow, and the string action at the 12th fret is approximately 3.2mm on the 6th string and 2.7mm on the 1st string. The saddle height is about 1.5mm to 2mm.

The long scale produces a bright sound with good projection and volume.

An old hard case is included.
