Tokai Cat's Eyes CE800S 1980's

1981年に限定発売されたMartinのオールドD-18レプリカのギターです。オール単板、鼈甲柄のバインディング、ロングサドルなどの仕様です。

トップサドル下のセンターシーム脇、エンド側に10cmほどのクラックがありますが、裏側のブレーシング部分で止まっており、動きも無いため、補修の必要はなさそうです。バックとネック裏に直径5mm程度の塗装の剥離、ネックヒールにストラップピンのネジ穴の埋め跡があります。ヘッドの先端にも軽い擦り傷があります。それ以外は大きな傷や打痕も少なく、材の割れやそれに伴う補修跡などもありません。ピックアップの装着歴などは無いようです。

ネックの状態は問題なく、弦高は12フレット位置で6弦2.5mm、1弦1.8mmとなっています。サドルの高さにもまだ余裕があります。

This is a limited edition Martin old D-18 replica guitar from 1981. It has all solid body, tortoiseshell binding, and a long saddle.

There is a 10cm crack on the end side of the top by the center seam under the saddle, but it is stopped by the bracing on the back side and there is no movement, so there seems to be no need to repair it. There is a 5mm diameter peeling of paint on the back and the back of the neck, and a filled in strap pin screw hole on the neck heel. There is also a light scuff on the tip of the head. Other than that, there are no other major scratches or dents, and no cracks in the wood or associated repairs. There does not appear to be any pickups installed.

The neck is in good condition, and the string height is 2.5mm on the 6th string and 1.8mm on the 1st string at the 12th fret. There is still room for more saddle height.
