Gibson ES-165 Herb Ellis Plus 2003

ES-165 Herb Ellis Plusの2003年製です。

スタンダードなES-165はピックアップがフロント一基ですが、この"Plus"はフロント＆リア共に「'57 Classic」を搭載し、3-Wayトグルスイッチと2-Volume/2-Toneのコントロールです。

目立つような傷や打痕は無く、大切に扱われてきた楽器のようです。このタイプのギターには宿命とも言えるトップ落ちはありますが、現時点でサドルで調整可能な範囲となっています。

ネックの状態には問題はなく、弦高は12フレット位置で6弦2.0mm、1弦1.5mmにセッティングされています。

Gibsonらしい太く甘く、クリーンなトーンが心地良いギターです。

This is a 2003 ES-165 Herb Ellis Plus.

The standard ES-165 has a single front pickup, but this “Plus” has both front and rear “'57 Classic” pickups with a 3-way toggle switch and 2-Volume/2-Tone controls.

There are no noticeable scratches or dings, and the instrument appears to have been treated with care. There is some top drop, which is a fate for this type of guitar, but it is within the range of adjustment with the saddle at this point.

The neck is in good condition and the string height is set at 2.0mm for the 6th string and 1.5mm for the 1st string at the 12th fret.

The guitar has a fat, sweet, clean tone that is typical of Gibson.

A genuine hard case is included.
