Martin OM-18 Authentic 1933 2014

2014年製のOM-18 Authentic 1933です。

エボニーロッド、ブレイシングパターン、ニカワ接着、塗り込みピックガードなど、1930年代当時の仕様をハンドメイドで再現しています。

エボニーロッドのおかげか驚くほど軽く、重量は1,625gほどです。

フレット交換、ナット・サドルの交換がされているようです。質の良いリペアです。オリジナルのナット・サドルも付属しています。また塗り込みのピックガードに一部塗装が剥離している部分があります。それ以外は全体的に状態は良く、目立つような傷や打痕などは見当たりません。またピックガードやストラップピンの装着歴もありません。材の割れやそれに伴う修復歴などもありません。

ネックの状態も適正で、弦高は12フレット位置で6弦2.2mm、1弦1.8mmと低めのセッティングです。サドルの高さも3mm程度あります。

マホガニーの弾けるような明るい音色でありながら、単音でつまびくと奥行きのある艶やかな響きです。

This is a 2014 OM-18 Authentic 1933.

It is handmade to the specifications of the 1930s, including ebony rod, bracing pattern, hide gluing, and painted pickguard.

Because of the ebony rod, it is surprisingly light, weighing about 1,625g.

It appears that the frets, the nut and saddle have been replaced. Good quality repair. The original nut and saddle are included. Also, there is a part of the painted pickguard where the paint is peeling off. Other than that, the overall condition is good, with no noticeable scratches or dents. There is no history of pickguard or strap pin installation. There are no cracks in the wood or associated repairs.

The neck is in fair condition, and the string height is low at the 12th fret with the 6th string at 2.2mm and the 1st string at 1.8mm. The saddle height is also about 3mm.

The mahogany has a bright, bouncy tone, but when strummed as a single note, it has a deep, lustrous sound.

A genuine hard case is included.
