Lowden S35 IRW/SS 2021

トップはシトカスプルース、バック・サイドはインディアンローウッドです。

2021年製とまだ新しいので痛みは少ないですが、バックに恐らく立って弾いた際のバックル傷、バック側のバインディング部分にも数箇所打痕があります。

現在は取り外されていますが、ピックアップがインストールされていたため、エンドピンの穴が広げられており、現在はエボニーのエンドピンが装着されています。またネックヒールにもストラップピンが後付けされています。

弦高は低めに設定されており、12フレット位置で6弦1.5mm1弦1.0mm程度となっています。サドルを作り直して高めにすることも可能です。

定番の材の組み合わせですが、630mmスケールの柔らかい感触と、非常に長いサスティーン、暖かく豊かな響きが素晴らしいです。

The top is Sitka spruce and the back and sides are Indian rosewood.

It was made in 2021, so there is few scratches, but there is a buckle scratch on the back probably from standing and playing, and a few dings on the binding area on the back side.

The endpin holes have been widened because of the pickups installed, which are now removed, and ebony endpins are currently installed. A strap pin has also been retrofitted on the heel of the neck.

The string height is set low, about 1.5mm on the 6th string and 1.0mm on the 1st string at the 12th fret. It is possible to rework the saddle to make it higher.

This is a standard combination of woods, but the soft feel of the 630mm scale, very long sustain, and warm, rich sound are wonderful.
