Hozen Blue Label MJ Swiss Moon Spruce /Spalted Maple 2024

After founding Maestro Guitars in Singapore in 2003, Mr. Hozen, a luthier, went back to school to study guitar making under Ervin Somogyi, and in 2019, he launched Hozen Guitars as a fully handmade custom shop.

This instrument is part of the brand’s top-of-the-line Blue Label series, featuring a Swiss Moon Spruce top, spalted maple sides and back, and a medium-jumbo body.

It is in near-mint condition with virtually no signs of use. No pickups have ever been installed.

The neck is in excellent condition, and the action is set low: 2.2 mm on the 6th string and 1.7 mm on the 1st string at the 12th fret. The saddle height is also ample.

It offers excellent balance from the low to the high registers, and each note sounds powerful, crisp, and well-defined with great separation. This guitar is especially recommended for fingerstyle players.

It comes with the original hard case.
