Brook Taw 2003

ブルック・ギターズはイギリス、デボンに25年前から工房を構え、カスタム・ハンドメイドのギターを小規模な製作者チームで行なっているメーカーで、その卓越した品質で高い評価を得ています。

このギターは2003年製で、インディアンローズウッドのサイド・バック、ヨーロピアンスプルーストップという仕様です。Tawというデザインの小さめなボディを持つギターで、630mmのショートスケール、42mmのナット幅を持ち、大変弾きやすいギターです。

ネックのヘッドストックのナット付近で折れがあり、タイトボンドでの接着補修を行なっています。しっかりと接着されており、今後の使用にも問題はありません。

ネック自体の状態には問題はなく、弦高は12フレット位置で6弦2.0mm、1弦1.8mmと低めのセッティングです。サドルの残り代もあります。

小さなボディからは想像しずらい豊かな中低音と、なめらかで深く、しっとりとしたサウンドが独特なギターです。

Brook Guitars is a manufacturer based in Devon, England, where they have operated their workshop for 25 years. They craft custom, handmade guitars with a small team of builders and are highly regarded for their exceptional quality.

This guitar was made in 2003 and features Indian rosewood sides and back with a European spruce top. It features the "Taw" design with a compact body, a 630mm short scale length, and a 42mm nut width, making it exceptionally playable.

There is a crack near the nut on the neck's headstock, repaired with Titebond adhesive. The bond is secure and poses no issues for future use.

The neck itself is in good condition. The string height is set low: 2.0mm at the 6th string and 1.8mm at the 1st string at the 12th fret. There is also some remaining saddle material.

This guitar produces a rich mid-to-low range and a smooth, deep, and mellow sound that is unique and hard to imagine from such a small body.

A standard hard case is included.
