Gibson J-50 1969

シリアルから1969年製のJ-50です。

39mmのナローネックで手に馴染みが良く、14°角ヘッドの緩めのテンションで弾きやすいギターです。ブリッジは固定サドルのものに交換されています。

トップ左下のバインディング近くににぶつけたような割れがありますが、裏側からパッチがされしっかりと補修されています。またナットの6弦側に欠けがあります。現時点で演奏に不具合はありません。小さな傷や打痕は多く、また塗装にも細かなひび割れなど経年感は出ていますが、そのほかに材の割れやその補修跡などは見当たりません。またピックアップの装着歴もありません。ペグやピックガードについてもオリジナルと思われます。

ネックの状態は正常で、弦高12フレット位置で6弦2.5mm、1弦1.8mmとなっています。サドルについても調整の余地は十分にあります。

強いアタックの一方で、豊かな低音とリバーブの効いたトーンは小さな音でひいても表現力が豊かです。ビンテージらしいサウンドです。

当時のものかどうか定かでは無いですが、古いギブソンの純正ハードケースが付属します。

This is a 1969 J-50 based on its serial number.

It features a 39mm narrow neck that fits comfortably in the hand, and a 14° headstock angle with relaxed tension, making it easy to play. The bridge has been replaced with a fixed saddle type.

There is a crack near the binding on the lower left of the top, likely from an impact, but it has been patched and repaired securely from the back. Additionally, there is a chip on the 6th string side of the nut. Currently, there are no issues affecting playability. There are numerous small scratches and dents, and the finish shows signs of aging, including fine cracks, but no other cracks in the wood or repair marks are visible. There is also no history of pickups being installed. The tuners and pickguard are believed to be original.

The neck condition is normal, with string height at the 12th fret measuring 2.5mm for the 6th string and 1.8mm for the 1st string. There is ample room for adjustment on the saddle as well.

While delivering a strong attack, its rich bass and reverb-like tone remain expressive even at low volumes. It possesses a quintessential vintage sound.

An old genuine Gibson hard case is included, though it is uncertain if it is original to the guitar.
