Waterloo WL-14XTR 2019

モデルはWL-14、X Bracing、Truss Rod、カラーはジェットブラック、2019年製です。

ネックエンドとサウンドホールの間のセンターシーム部分にクラックの補修歴があります。またサウンドホール周りにピッキングによるスクラッチ傷が見受けられます。ボディ内部のパック側のブレーシングに数箇所接着補修の跡があります。またバック板のエンドピンの両側付近の2箇所、バック板の接着が緩んでいたため接着補修をしていますが、サイド板との間にわずかに段差が生じています。

上記以外には目立つような傷や打痕、材の割れやそれに伴う修復歴はありません。ストラップピンやピックアップの装着跡などもありません。

ネックの状態も問題無く、弦高は12フレット位置で6弦2.7mm、1弦2.2mmのセッティングです。

ボディ本体の軽さ(1,520g)、薄い塗装、ニカワ接着などにより、カラッとした乾いたトーンで、非常に大きなボリュームがあるギターです。

The model is the WL-14, featuring X-bracing and a truss rod; the colour is Jet Black, and it was manufactured in 2019.

There is evidence of previous crack repair along the centre seam between the neck end and the soundhole. There are also scratches around the soundhole caused by picking. There are several signs of adhesive repairs on the bracing on the back of the body. Furthermore, the back panel had come loose in two places near either side of the endpin; although these have been repaired with adhesive, a slight step has formed between the back panel and the side panels.

Apart from the above, there are no noticeable scratches, dents, cracks in the wood, or any associated repair history. There are also no traces of strap pins or pickups having been fitted.

The neck is in good condition, with the string action set at 2.7 mm for the 6th string and 2.2 mm for the 1st string at the 12th fret.

Owing to the light weight of the body (1,520 g), the thin finish and the use of animal glue, this guitar produces a crisp, dry tone with exceptionally high volume.
