Martin OM-18 Authentic 1933 2013

2013年製のOM-18 Authentic 1933です。

エボニーロッド、ニカワ接着、塗り込みピックガードなど、1930年代当時の仕様をハンドメイドで完全再現しています。

エボニーロッドのおかげか驚くほど軽く、重量は1,655gほどです。

バック側のバインディングに補修跡がありますが、それ以外に目立つような傷や打痕などは見当たりません。またピックガードやストラップピンの装着歴もありません。材の割れやそれに伴う修復歴などもありません。

ネックの状態も適正で、弦高は12フレット位置で6弦2.2mm、1弦1.8mmと低めのセッティングです。サドルの高さも2.5mm程度あります。

マホガニーの弾けるような明るい音色でありながら、単音でつまびくと奥行きのある艶やかな響きです。

This is a 2013 OM-18 Authentic 1933.

It is a complete handmade reproduction of the original 1930s specifications, featuring an ebony rod, hide glue, and a painted pickguard.

Thanks to the ebony rod, it's surprisingly light, weighing approximately 1,655g.

There is repair evidence on the binding on the back, but no other noticeable scratches or dents are visible. There is also no history of pickguard or strap pin attachment. There are no cracks in the wood or associated repair history.

The neck condition is excellent, with low action set at 2.2mm for the 6th string and 1.8mm for the 1st string at the 12th fret. The saddle height is also ample at approximately 2.5mm.

It produces a bright, resonant mahogany tone that's lively and responsive, yet delivers a rich, deep resonance when played with single notes.
