Lowden S-25 '90s

Sシリーズの25、シダーとローズウッドの1990年代製の古いLowdenです。Sシリーズは通常630mmなのですが、このローデンはスケールが650mmです。当時の仕様はよくわかりませんが、スケールのせいなのか音は大きくくっきりとしていて、また年代のせいなのか、しっとりとした深みのある響きがたまらないです。

全体のコンディションとしては、トップのホール下にピックガードがないのですが、ピッキングの傷でしょうか、少し痛みが出ています。こすった傷と言うよりは、経年で木目に筋が入ったような、不思議な感じの傷の跡になってます。そのほかには目立った傷、打コン、割れの補修跡等ありません。ネックの状態も問題なく、弦高は6弦で2.5mm、1弦で1.75mmと標準的な状態で、サドルも6弦側4mmと余裕あります。

S series 25, old '90s Lowden in cedar and rosewood. The S series is usually 630mm, but this Loden has a scale of 650mm. I don't know the specs at the time, but maybe it's because of the scale, but the sound is loud and clear.

As for the overall condition, there is no pickguard under the hole on the top, but there is a slight pain, probably due to picking scratches. Rather than rubbing scratches, it looks like a streak in the grain of the wood over time. Other than that, there are no noticeable scratches, dents, crack repair marks, etc. The neck is in good condition, the string height is standard at 2.5mm for the 6th string and 1.75mm for the 1st string, and the saddle is roomy at 4mm on the 6th string side.
