Gibson ES-125 early50's

ボディFホール内部にスタンプされているFONの数字は1940年代後期のものですが、電装系の仕様などから、50年代初期のものと思われます。

このモデルにおいては宿命と言えるトップ落ちがありますが、最近ネックリセット、リフレット、指板調整、ナット交換などの調整が行われており、非常に演奏がしやすい状態です。ペグも交換されています。

バックにバックルによるスクラッチはありますが、それ以外は傷や打痕、塗装の剥がれなどなく、材の割れやそれに伴う補修歴なども見当たりません。

ネックには反りなどはなく、弦高も低めのセッティングです。

電装系はP90ピックアップなど、オリジナルと見られ、正常に稼働しています。

この年代特有の枯れた、趣のある音色ですが、音の太さ、アタック感もあります。

純正かどうか判別ができませんが、古いハードケースが付属しています。

The FON numbers stamped inside the body F-holes are from the late 1940s, but the electrical specifications and other features suggest that it is from the early 1950s.

The top has fallen off, which is a fateful part of this model, but the neck has been recently reset, refretted, the fingerboard adjusted, and the nut replaced, making it very easy to play. The pegs have also been replaced.

There is a scratch on the back from a buckle, but other than that, there are no scratches, dents, or peeling paint, and there are no cracks in the wood or associated repairs.

The neck is not warped and the string height is set low.

The electrical system, including the P90 pickups, appears to be original and in good working order.

The tone has a unique, dead, atmospheric tone of this age, but it also has a thicker sound and attack.

It comes with an old hard case, although we cannot tell if it is genuine or not.
