Buscarino Starlight Steel String 1993

アメリカのルシアー、ジョン・バスカリーノの1993年製のギターです。Starlightシリーズはナイロン弦が有名ですが、こちらは珍しいスティール弦モデルです。

トップはシトカスプルース、サイドバックはホンジュラス・マホガニーのワンピース。ネックもホンジュラス・マホガニーのワンピースです。指板はパウ・フェロ。

ピックアップはフィッシュマン・マトリックスで、ボリューム、低音、中音、高音のカットとブースト機能があります。仕上げはサテン・ポリエステルです。

全体的に使用感少なく、トップに二箇所ほど小さな打痕がある他は、目立った傷や修復歴などはありません。電気系統も正常に稼働しています。

弦高は12フレット位置にて6弦約2.5mm、1弦約2.0mmのセッティングです。

This is a guitar made in 1993 by the American luthier John Bascarino. Whilst the Starlight series is famous for its nylon-string models, this is a rare steel-string model.

The top is made of Sitka spruce, whilst the sides and back are a single piece of Honduran mahogany. The neck is also a single piece of Honduran mahogany. The fingerboard is made of pau ferro.

It is fitted with a Fishman Matrix pickup, featuring volume controls and boost/cut functions for bass, midrange and treble. The finish is satin polyester.

Overall, it shows very little wear; apart from a couple of small dents on the top, there are no noticeable scratches or signs of previous repairs. The electronics are in full working order.

The string action is set at approximately 2.5 mm on the 6th string and 2.0 mm on the 1st string at the 12th fret.

It comes with the original semi-hard case.
