Martin D-18SS 2009

珍しいD-18のショートスケールモデル、SSです。

スケールは000などと同様の632mmで、ロングサドル、オープンバックのチューナー、鼈甲柄のピックガードなど、その他の仕様もこだわっています。

パックにバックル傷があり、その他細かな傷や打痕はありますが、目立つようなものは少なく、また補修歴なども無いようです。ピックアップやストラップピンの装着歴もありません。

ネックの状態には問題なく、弦高は12フレット位置で6弦2.5mm、1弦1.8mmといったセッティングです。

ショートスケールなので弾きやすいですが、音量が小さいということもなく、サウンド自体は典型的なD-18です。ブーストされたような中低音が気持ちの良いギターです。

This is a rare D-18 short-scale model, the SS.

The scale length is 632mm, similar to the 000, and other specifications are also meticulously crafted, including a long saddle, open-back tuners, and tortoiseshell-pattern pickguard.

The case has a buckle mark, and there are other minor scratches and dents, but nothing particularly noticeable. There also appears to be no history of repairs. There is no history of pickup or strap pin installation.

The neck condition is fine, with the action set at 2.5mm on the 6th string and 1.8mm on the 1st string at the 12th fret.

Being a short scale, it's easy to play, yet it doesn't lack volume. The sound itself is quintessential D-18. It's a guitar with a pleasantly boosted mid-low range.
