Martin D-18 1996

D-18の1996年製です。

ピックアップの装着歴があり、ネックブロックにバッテリー固定用のシール跡があります。またエンドピンの穴がが広げられています。ボディ内部のバック側のブレーシングの接着補修跡が見受けられます。またネック裏の塗装が一部剥げています。ネックヒールにストラップピンが装着されています。

上記以外は小さな傷や打痕は多くありますが、目立つようなものは無く、材の割れやそれに伴う補修歴などは見当たりません。

ネックの状態は問題無く、弦高は12フレット位置で6弦2.5mm、1弦2.0mmの標準的なセッティングです。サドルの高さも、6弦側2.5mm、1弦側2.0mm程度残っています。

中低音の効いたD-18らしいマホガニーサウンドです。

This is a 1996 D-18.

Pickups have been installed on this guitar in the past, and there are adhesive residue marks on the neck block where a battery was once attached. Additionally, the endpin hole has been enlarged. There are signs of adhesive repairs on the bracing on the back inside the body. Furthermore, the finish on the back of the neck is partially chipped. A strap pin is attached to the neck heel.

Aside from the above, there are many small scratches and dents, but none are particularly noticeable, and there are no visible cracks in the wood or any associated repair history.

The neck is in good condition, and the string action is set to standard specifications at the 12th fret: 2.5 mm on the 6th string and 2.0 mm on the 1st string. The saddle height also measures approximately 2.5 mm on the 6th string side and 2.0 mm on the 1st string side.

It produces a classic D-18 mahogany sound with rich mid-to-low frequencies.
